Artist's Biography
The chance to study weaving and textile design lured me to Mendocino on the north coast of California. When the textile program closed I started taking classes at the College of the Redwoods. One morning something told me, "You should take Bob Rhoades' watercolor class." I said, "OK" even though I had no desire to paint. I fell in love with moving the colors on the paper with the brush. It was so much faster than weaving! That class led to color & design, which led to me enrolling in the graphic design program.

I graduated in May, 1999 with an Associate of Science degree in Graphic Communications. What you see here is the fruits of my labor from classwork and outside exploration.

My hope is that you enjoy viewing my work here enough to add it to your life, and that my work will enrich your life with its beauty and its message.
